Kyoko Hida, 41 years old, is a freelance marketing specialist. She is particular about her fashion and hairstyle.

For finding a hairstylist, she chooses one who wear glasses as Kyoko does.

“I was looking for a hairstylist who wear glasses daily because I thought the person who wear glasses can truly understand and create the best hairstyle considering balance with the width of glasses and the balance with the bang.”

The hairstylist that Kyoko chose was Mr. Mizoguchi from LIPPS.

Mr. Mizoguchi designed Kyoko’s bob style to go well with her cutting edge fashion and glasses. Her hairstyle also looks great with Japanese kimono that Kyoko often wears. Her short bang has a good balance with her glasses as well.

Kyoko thought it was difficult to have bob style due to her curly hair, however, Mr. Mizoguchi solved the problem with combination of straight perm and digital perm.

On the top of her hair, Mr. Mizoguchi applied straight perm to hold down unruly hair and make the hair look shinny. At the end of her hair, he applied digital perm to make one curl for easy styling.

“I love my hairstyle. Also it makes my life easier. I can keep a cool hairstyle with easy styling. It goes well with my glasses and also with hat.”

“I used to stay away from hair salons in Omotesando where only fashionable people get together. What I like about LIPPS is that it is of course stylish and fashionable, but it also has a atmosphere where I can relax. Hairstylists here are passionate for their job and they always respond to my request. I can be straight and tell them what I want. That’s why I like this hair salon.” Kyoko explained.
