“Actually Toa has been going to LIBERTY-H, the hair salon, longer than me. When he was 2 years old, he had his first haircut there on the way back from the supermarket. I liked the atmosphere of the salon and their hairstylist who listened to my request seriously, then I started to go to the salon myself as well.” Akiko said.

Akiko likes to spend all her weekend with her children since she is extremely busy in her weekdays.

“I was looking for a hair salon where I can bring my children without hesitation. My hairstylist, Ebi-chan, Mr. Ebina, has great sense and techniques. I am happy that I found him.” Akiko said.

This time Akiko requested a hairstyle with darker hair color tone and perm which creates natural hair movement.

“Akiko’s hair is very straight, so hairstyling with hair iron does not last all day. She is so busy spending time for styling in the morning, so I applied one curl with perm at the end of the hair to make the styling easier. I also introduced a special shampoo which keeps her hair color to last longer.” Mr. Ebina said.

Akiko normally prefers a heavy and thick hairstyle. Mr. Ebina used layer cut to make it look slightly lighter this time.

For the bottom of the hair, he used graduation cut keeping the weight of hair, then used layers on the top part of hair to make it lighter. He cut gradually shorter on front to make the hair to curl inward, then cut bang just above her eyes to make them to stand out.

For coloring, he created a so called “shinning chocolate color” by blending 7 level “melty chocola” and 7 level “mermaid ash” from Ordeve brand, Mibon company. To keep the color last longer, color tone is darker than before.

Mr. Ebina permed the end of hair with 20 – 23 mm rod to make a 1.5 curl.

“It has been a long time since she had perm, so I used a large rod to give a natural look.” Mr. Ebina said.

“I usually wake up at 6:15 in the morning and can spend 10 minutes for hairstyling. Therefore, I like a style not needing the use of hair iron. It is convenient.” Akiko said.

“He understands my requests without me explaining, and he makes it come true. All the staff at LIBERTY-H is efficient, fast, and friendly to children.” Akiko continued.

During this interview, staff were taking a good care and playing with her son. The hair salon has a content “Suteki na mama” (beautiful mothers) on their website which Mr. Ebina is in charge.

A hair salon that welcome not only ourselve but also our children makes us happy, like LIBERTY-H where it is possible for mothers to go with their children.
