    January 17, 2014

Kinuyo Kataoka, 41 years old, is a regular client at Jessica hair salon, introduced to her by her nailist friend.

“I have been to Jessica for 1 year and half.  It has a relaxing atmosphere and I feel comfortable to ask anything about my hair.”

Kinuyo used to have short hair.  Currently her hair is medium length, and she is planning to let it grow  and have long hair.

“I would like to have a style which allow me to make curls easily.”

For Kinuyo’s request on easy styling, how her hairstylist made it happen?

“Since Kinuyo curls her hair inward with hair iron for the styling, I cut the inside of hair slightly shorter so that she can curl her hair easily.” keiichi Teragaki, her hairstylist, said.

The base style is a graduated bob, using layers along her face, with the bang blowout at her eyes level.

Mr. Teragaki chose 9 level orange blown for the base color, then applied 11 level nude gold for the surface, and added hair color weave with thin tip to create a sense of movement and translucency.

“Kinuyo always asks me to create a style which makes her face look smaller. I cut her hair along her face with special techniques to create an illusion, also applies color to make her face line sharper.”

Mr. Teragaki said.  Kinuyo made a big smile for having the hairstyle just as she wanted.

Kinuyo trust word of mouth information.

“I rely on word of mouth information for good restaurants as well as good hair salon.” Kinuyo said.

Being lucky to find a good hair salon trusting word of mouth information, make it is also worth keeping it for long term.
