    Elegant and flaffy perm style

    November 25, 2013

Yasuko Miyashita, 50 years old, is an office worker.  She goes to her hair salon, musee, every 10 days!

“I come to musee not only for haircut but also for basic haircare. I come here for shampoo and blow, sometime for coloring and head spa  I also want to get more loyalty points to be invited for their year end party!” Yasuko said.

“Of course we will invite you for the party even if you do not have enough points!” The staff at musee smiled.

Yasuko and staff at musee are like friends since Yasuko has been coming to musee for 12 years.  Hiromi Toida has been her hairstylist since she became a professional one.

“I like the personality of Hiromi. If I had a daughter, I want her to be like Hiromi. She also has a very good sense of fashion, and I like looking at her clothes.” Yasuko said.

Yasuko is worried about loosing hair volume, shinningness, and strength of hair because of her age. Also her long oval face shape is a concern.

Hiromi proposed her a perm style which has lightness and natural movement.

“Yasuko can enjoy two different styles; natural styling with permed hair, or  a blow using curlers especially when she goes out.” Hiromi explained.  Yasuko’s hair looks elegant and lovely which match her character.

Hiromi cut slightly longer on the front from neck to chin, used layers on top to give volume. She cut bang thick to cover her relatively large forehead. For the top of hair, she does not adjust the volume but focus on creating glossiness. Also, she used sliding cut to reduce volume inside and create lightness. Around her face, she used layers to have xxx shape to make her face look smaller.

She permed 2 and half times with 20mm rods, 11 on backside and 4 on the side of her hair to create soft waves. For bang and top, she used 32mm rods to give volume.

For coloring, she used 9 level olive brown from Milbon company, to give a graduated color at the end of her hair.  The color looks natural with her skin.

“I applied collagen before the color for hair to look glossy then and  used single coloring method since perm already gives a natural movement.” Hiromi explained.

“I focused on making her hair glossy and shinny to match Yasuko’s elegant character.  Her hair length is long enough to tide up her hair for work and when she wears kimono.”  Hiromi said.

“This is the style I wanted.  Hiromi understands my look and create it into hairstyle with her proven technique and her sense.  She actively joins hairstylist competitions and events all over the world.  Hiromi and other staff at musee are extremely positive and give me a great energy and sense of excitement.

For Yasuko, coming to musee every 10 days is part of her everyday life. If we have such a place with full of excitement, we can charge us with good energy.
