Chiharu Hiratoko, 43 years old, is the first lady showing up in a Japanese kimono for a UNIQUE PIECE’s interview.

“I have been wearing kimono since I was 40 years old, and I spend my weekends in kimono that my husband selects for me.” Chiharu said.

Michiko Ohmori, 67 years old, is a stylish lady. She loves fashion; her favorite designer is ISSEI MIYAKE, her clothes for 30 years, and has several pairs of glasses to match her style.

Sachiko Shimohara, 59 years old, mother of two children, is a owner of a cosmetic company in Nagano. She used to be a hair stylist herself before she started her own business.

Kyoko Nakahara, 48 years old, used to be very busy taking care of her children when she was in her 30s.

When she became 42 years old, her daughter recommended her to go to a hair salon called BEAUTRIUM in Aoyama.

Mayumi Akazaki, 53 years old, is a jazz singer from Nagoya. She is a professional singer, had solo live in NAGOYA Blue Note, a famous jazz club, and released 3 album.

Kaori Yamanashi, 40 years old, has a good posture as she has been doing ballet since she was 3 years old. She used to have long hair for ballet.

Kaoru Hayashi, 45 years old, is a owner of a nursery with her husband.

Her favorite fashion icon is Halle Berry, favorite shops are Estnation and Ron Herman, and her personal hairstylist is Mr. Shigemori from Rougy hair salon, who has been taking care of Kaoru’s hair for the past 6 years.
